How it works
Press N, or the plus button, and write what you want the way you would say it. Many Hats picks out the job, the date and the time, and you can change any of it before you add.
The at sign names the job and the hash sign adds a tag, and starting with note: or idea: saves a page or an idea in place of a task. The app also understands phrases such as waiting on, every weekday, tomorrow and Friday, and anything you capture without naming a job lands in the Inbox.
Examples
Each of these names a job from the example setup, and with your own jobs the word after the at sign can be any word of a job's name or its first few letters.
